Our decaf coffee is from the country of Colombia. It is also a Mountain Water decaf processed coffee.
Roaster's Notes:
When I usually drink decaf, it's with "Sweet & Creamy" International Delight a couple of hours before I head to bed a couple of times during the week. I love how this coffee can handle creamer and gives me that ultimate sweet tooth fix. Yes, a coffee roaster who uses creamer. Granted it is a night time, which this coffee allows me to because over the years, I've tended to be a little sensitive to a regular cup of coffee at night.
But when you strip this coffee to it's true form, it's complicated. As with most coffees, as it cools down, it transforms into something far from what it began as. This coffee initially has a lemon-lime aftertaste that lingers and lingers and can rub a drinker the wrong way. There isn't any sweetness at this high temp at all. But as it cools it goes into this mellow orangey taste and has an after taste of a ripe cherry sweetness. And then it goes quickly. It's a big big tease.
I suggest trying this coffee at different temps. But I believe a good sweet spot for this coffee is at 200 degrees.
