This Peruvian brew works well with any coffee maker. Initially, when the coffee is piping hot, the flavors are all over the place. It's hard to decipher what you are tasting. However, I believe this coffee comes alive after the first five minutes of the brew. The subtle, but juicy flavors work together to provide the drinker a calming and welcoming feeling. Whichever application you like to drink coffee, this coffee performs well at.
If you prefer your coffee right in your face with intense flavor, I suggest you use a 10:1 ratio. If not and you prefer a more subtleness, I recommend at 18:1 ratio, that will give you a better understand of what each note of the coffees are.
I believe this coffee is best as a second or third cup of coffee for the day.
