This is what I think of this coffee: This coffee is hmmm....a natural. It's extremely fruit forward. There isn't any way to say differently. It can be fun at times, but something that isn't too good if used daily. Like a perfect afternoon cup to get you to think and ponder and I guess those things are the same thing. I like the fact that it challenges you if you want to push it.

This Costa Rican natural is lively, fruit-forward, and full of character.

From the first sip, it leans into ripe, juicy flavors—dark berries, blackberry lemonade, and a touch of orange zest—balanced by a soft hazelnut sweetness underneath. As a natural coffee, there’s a bit of playful funk when pushed, especially on espresso, but it stays clean and well-structured rather than wild or messy.

As espresso, it’s bold and expressive. Add milk, and the coffee shifts into something softer and sweeter, with flavors that resemble a strawberry or plum milkshake. Brewed as pour-over or drip, it keeps its fruit clarity while staying smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

This coffee comes from a small family-run operation in the Tarrazú region, where careful harvesting and processing bring out the best of the Bourbon variety. The result is a coffee that feels lush and vibrant, but still balanced enough to enjoy in everyday brewing.
